Tony Robins said last week in front of 6000 dentists that to be a great dentist, you must have:
1) Great Patients
2) Great Staff
3) and a Great Internet Presence
Hard to believe that in the opinion of one of the most notable men of our time, internet presence is up there with great staff and great patients. Reality is that we are living in the “On Line Age” and an internet presence is now the equivalent of one’s actual existence.
1) Great Patients: The biggest blessing in the world is a great patient. A great patient is one that is open to being educated and learning to take better care of him or herself. A great patient is one that will respect the healthcare provider’s time and the doctor’s suggestions. A great patient is the same as a great person: kind, friendly, and compassionate. Great patients again are a blessing and we thank all of our patients for being just that!
2) Great Staff: Dr. Sid Solomon DDS has been fortunate to have many great staff members in the past 27 years. The definition of a great staff member is one that is loyal, punctual, caring , kind, respectful of their profession, and dedicated to the team. Dr. Solomon’s assistant is the greatest staff member in this world and we are so very fortunate to have her. Thank you to all of team members for making every day a great day.
3) Great Internet Presence: Few words of wisdom that I learned from Dr. Oz the other day on this very subject. When you read material online, don’t just rely on google and its search engines to give you the best information possible. Google is a robot after all. Rely rather on your personal sense of knowledge and understanding. Look at the author or the post, review or article. Look at the website. Look and make sure you are reading credible information from a credible author on a credible site. Its easy to get attracted to drama (Jerry Springer syle) but let that go and look for credibility. We take great pride in our websites and hope that they serve to educate patients and portray the kind, caring, cutting edge, and compassionate office we are and the wonderful person that Dr. Sid Solomon DDS is!
